Automatic Mobile Monetization

non mobile

According to an article published on HubSpot, “there are 6.8 billion people on the planet. 5.1 billion of them own a cell phone, but only 4.2 billion own a toothbrush.

That statistic is from a few years ago and the mobile industry continues to grow and grow. Your mobile phone is no longer just a phone, but really a part of you. It’s like you have one within arms reach right now. You do, don’t you?

We have seen the ridiculous growth of mobile have an effect on our traffic at PeerFly as well. We get millions of mobile clicks on our offers and luckily for our publishers, advertisers are now finally starting to build either responsive landing pages that will look good on a mobile phone or an app that goes along with their product or service. However, you are still wasting at least 18% of your clicks if you do not have a mobile redirect system setup to help monetize that traffic. Well, starting today, you do.

Mobile Money

Take a look at the image at the top of this article and consider something…do you think that the user holding that phone is going to complete that form? No matter how good your ad copy is, I’m going to bet that they wouldn’t.

The reason that mobile traffic does not convert with a non mobile optimized landing page is that users are not comfortable filling out certain forms on their phone and some forms do not even display properly on a phone! The majority of the people accessing your affiliate link from their phone will not convert the way that you expect them to with normal browser traffic.

However, with PeerFly’s new mobile redirect system you can finally start making mobile money!

Our system will automatically redirect your mobile visitors to a mobile optimized offer and you will be paid for any conversion that comes from that user.

Each non mobile optimized campaign on PeerFly is already setup for you to start making mobile money. Conversions on our mobile redirects will show up in your PeerFly Reports just like your other traffic.

If there is an offer you do not want us to redirect your mobile traffic on simply click the button on the top right of the offer page.

Let you affiliate manager know if you have any questions. Let’s make some money!

Is there anything you guys can do at PeerFly to encourage your advertisers to create more mobile friendly offers? Seems like so much wasted money for everyone.

      Hey Pete,

We would love for all of our clients to have mobile friendly pages and we encourage them to optimize for mobile. However, if the page is not optimized, the next best thing is to simply redirect the mobile click to a targeted mobile offer. We’re rolling out with some new updates today which should increase the conversion rates of your mobile clicks!

    That’s great Luke!

Yes mobile is such a great opportunity for everyone. Further to your quote on cell phones and toothbrushes, I heard somewhere that there are actually more cell phones on the planet than people as many people have more than one, lol!

    Cheers, Steve

It sounds good in theory but there is a 0% conversion rate for the mobile money offer #8245, and there is a $0.00 payout for each lead. How is this helping?

    1. Lauren Hostert

Hi Bill. Because our mobile redirect rotates through a few different offers, there isn’t a set payout so the offer listing shows a $0.00 payout. If you would prefer to opt out of our Mobile Money program, you can always do on the offer page.

    Hi ,

Is there any way we can find out if the offer is mobile optimized or not rather than realizing after we send the Traffic.

    1. Lauren Hostert

Offers that are mobile optimized have a phone symbol next to the offer name. You can also sort for them using the “Mobile” dropdown on the Search Offers page. 🙂

How do I turn it off? I’d like to decide for myself if my traffic converts better having them go to the places I advertise instead to some credit repair crap or a free trip on a friggin porn site.

I honestly don’t think it’s worth a 2% conversion and a buck ninety out of 400-500 people, to confuse my reoccurring traffic with crap offers that don’t make sense, I wouldn’t doubt that later on they wouldn’t even want to click on an ad in fear that it’s going to ask them to sign up for a free newsletter about blah blah or purchase some freakn chocolates or something.

They want porn games yo, not credit score crap.

Straight up and honest. My integrity and honesty in my advertising is what I’m interested in, plus having 400 so people click on the mobile money and only make $2…? I really truly think I can do better with them going to the offer I’m describing.

Don’t you think? Even if it is some what not optimized, Right? They clicked on it for a reason. Need help with this, thanks!
