I am happy to announce that we have just launched a brand new feature to PeerFly, our PeerFly Banner Rotator!
You can find it on your account at: https://peerfly.com/pubs/rotator.php
We are very excited about this rotator and the publishers I have shown so far seem excited about it too. Here are a few of the key features:
On page rotation: If the user does not click on your banner the first 15 seconds they are on your site, they are automatically shown a different banner.
Keyword optimization: You can rotate banners for a specific keyword. If you have a blog about iPads you can use the keyword iPad to make sure only iPad related banners are displayed.
Geotargeted banners: Only banners for offers that allow traffic from the user’s country are displayed to them.
Banner optimization: The rotator is setup to rotate our top banners automatically for whatever vertical, keyword, or size you choose. We currently have 7,446 banners available for our offers, but with a simple piece of code you can take all the guess work out of which ones are doing best and let us take care of that for you!
On top of all that we’ve also created a WordPress Plugin that will allow you to easily add our banner rotator code to your blog by simply making a widget. You can download the WordPress plugin here.
I am the Director of Marketing at PeerFly and have over 15 years of experience with affiliate marketing. I am also a blogger and web developer. I enjoy creating applications to help my PeerFly publishers make more money!
This looks really useful. Going to use this on some sites I get international organic traffic on and see how it goes. Thanks
Awesome!
Will it auto filter the banners based on country as well>
Yes, it automatically only displays banners for offers that allow traffic from the viewers country 🙂
This has officially brought me back on Peerfly
Best update you guys could have made !!!
Great to hear! 😀
Hi. Great job.
But when all the banners will be available in the rotator? Are you working on that?
All the banners that would be allowed are available 🙂
Now I have installed on one of my blogs and works great
Congratulations Luke
Awesome!!Also with the wordpress plugin!!!!!!
MY QUESTION IS IF I USE THE BANNER ROTATOR IN BLOGGER…install the code on her blog htlm rather in that part of this ..
You can manually add the HTML code.
Luke, kudos to you and your team! This is indeed an exclusive feature to be proud of.
1. How does the rotator decide which offer to display first, and is the order randomized?
2. Does the CTR over time influence the offers or order that the rotator serves up?
I installed the plug in earlier today but have a question. The banner rotator is working great when I view the blog through Google Chrome but when I view my blog through Explorer the banner rotator is not showing any ads at all. Any suggestions?
This is excellent, thank you. However, I have found a small issue. I am in Australia and have a number of visitors from here, although most of my visitors are from the US. I have placed a 200×200 banner on my site in my chosen category. The problem is that as there are no specific ads in that category with that size banner targeting Australia, the rotator is defaulting to an ad of a larger size. This destroys my layout and looks awful. Is there a way to fix this? Maybe allow users to choose an alterative banner hosted elsewhere if there is nothing at all from Peerfly in the right size available to a location? Thanks.
word press plugin caused my blog to go out of alignment http://fitkiss.info/
Please help! Where to install the code? “Place this code at the bottom of page (above your tag)”???
