August 20th, 2009

Affiliate Summit East in NYC was great this year! We got the chance to meet some of our publishers face to face, as well as some other influential players in the industry.

I want to let everyone know that I will be at Ad-Tech Chicago on September 1 and 2. If you plan on attending email me at Travis [at] peerfly.com and we can arrange a meetup. I look forward to seeing some of you there. Check out the Ad-Tech site at http://www.ad-tech.com/ . It looks like there will be a ton of good speakers and exhibits so come if you can. It’s always great to network, learn new things and make new connections.

NEW Features

We have been working to release several new features for PeerFly. You may have already noticed that when you log in, you are brought to the PeerFly Dashboard. This gives you a quick glimpse of new offers, top converting offers, and offer updates.

For those of you who want to be notified quickly when offers go down (or when they’re added, payouts bumped, etc) you can follow “PeerFlyOffers” on twitter. You can use this to get instant, SMS text messages whenever changes are made to an offer.

Once you have followed @peerflyoffers on twitter, just go to the settings tab and then click devices. Setup your phone number and go to whichever users you want to get text messages from. Click to turn on device updates. You won’t automatically get text messages from everyone’s tweets (which is probably a good thing), only the twitter accounts that you activate device updates on.

If there are any offers you would like to see added to PeerFly you can tweet them to @peerflyoffers in addition to the current points of contact: email, phone, AIM, and Yahoo! messenger. If you need any help with any of that hit me up on twitter @peerfly or @peerflyoffers , or email travis [at] peerfly.

Another feature being added sometime this week is the ability to place your own pixels. This should speed up the process and make for less downtime. We will make sure to notify you when this goes live. Feel free to drop me a line with any feature requests. Because PeerFly is custom built, we are always looking to improve our features and interface.
