Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! November is always one of our busiest months around the office. We launched our Convert4Food program, collected canned goods for our local food bank and ramped up for Black Friday! Of course, we’re never too busy for everyone’s favorite blog post: our monthly offer interview. Today we’re focusing on the massive casino brand, William Hill.
William Hill is a huge name in the affiliate space and has been on PeerFly in different iterations since 2013. We have a few different versions of the offer available currently.
William Hill Casino
The flagship brand offers an expansive array of casinos – over 100 different options to suite all tastes! Additionally, the boasted 1,000 Euro bonus is a great selling point.
The offer pays out $160 per registration with minimum $25 deposit. It allows traffic from Germany, Sweden, Japan and Finland. Check it out on PeerFly below:
William Hill Sport
Made specifically for sports fans, William Hill Sport is a great way to capitalize on the hype that often surrounds sporting events. We currently have it for Sweden and Japan at a $64.00 payout. The offer converts when user registers and makes any deposit. Check it out here:
The client provided some great tips on targeting, timing drops and selecting traffic sources.
Q1. What is the age range of your best customers?
A1: 24 – 42 years old.
Q2. Are there any primary interests that your ideal customers share?
A2: Interest in sports betting/online casino (roulette mainly).
Q3. Are there any specific countries, regions, states, or cities that would be best to target?
A3: UK as it’s our “backyard” although market is a bit saturated with William Hill offers. Next would be Germany, Italy and Sweden.
Q4. What promotion type do you think is the best for your offer or offers? (Display Ads, Media Buys, Contextual, Social, Mobile, Native Ads, Blogs, etc)
A4: I would say that it is more dependent on the traffic itself in terms of relevance than the channel, although specifically Display Ads are not working anymore when comes to gambling (unless running on sites with high affinity towards gambling). Other than that the three that convert the best are Contextual, Mobile and Native Ads.
Q5. What percentage of conversions are coming from mobile traffic?
A5: Mobile is considerably higher than desktop today.
Q6. What keywords, Ad Headings, Ad Copy, or Banners are converting best?
A6: Again, more dependent if traffic sent to the add is relevant (e.g. showing Sport offer for casino focused traffic)
Q7. Have you had any success with blogs? If so, what type?
A7: I have not to be honest, although I imagine blogs about sport odds have potential.
Q8. Is there a day of the week or time of day that is best to promote these campaigns?
A8: For Sport it would be when the fixtures are on TV, anytime can work for gaming products.
Have a suggestion for next month’s offer? Let us know in the comments! Otherwise, we’ll see you in December. 🙂
